Brennerhof
1599 – 1601
The Brennerhof glassworks, mentioned as "Prenhof" in 1590/91, was a predecessor of the Reichenau factory equipped with seven melting pots, whose name indicates a clearing of the forest. Archaeological test excavations revealed the foundations behind the farmstead (Meierhof) before production was centralized in 1601. Since 1921, this historic site has been used industrially by the Pfleiderer sawmill.
